There is simply an admirable grace with the way Lorna Tolentino
handled her recent loss.
The beautiful actress was 'flawless' even while she was suffering.
Many wept and the nation joined her in her mourning the death of her
husband Rudy Fernandez. Although still reeling in pain, Lorna showed
up at the recent Golden Screen Awards by the Entertainment Press held
in Greenhills, San Juan.
At the event, everybody saw a hurting but very composed woman.
Lorna emotionally accepted a posthumous award for Daboy that night
following a song number from Rudy’s closest buddies Senators Bong
Revilla, Jinggoy Estrada and Philip Salvador.
During her acceptance speech, she recalled how important that date
(June 24) was to her and Rudy. "Ngayon nga po ang church wedding
anniversary namin.
lahat, sa inyong suporta at pagmamahal," she managed to pull through.
Lorna revealed why she has and should always keep her composure.
Before the Golden Screen Awards, she went to Boracay with her sons
Ralphe at Renz, friends Precy Ejercito and her daughter Jel, Tirso
Cruz III and Lynn with their daughter Djanin, Isabel Rivas, Amy
Austria, and other friends.
She has no plans yet of going back to the movies or television. "Wala
