Lorna Tolentino turns down offer to pose for FHM

Actress Lorna Tolentino got an invitation to pose for the number one men's magazine in the country, FHM. Good news is that the multi-awarded actress got the approval of hubby Rudy Fernandez and their kids. Even her manager, Lolit Solis approves of it. Manay Lolit thought that Rudy wouldn't allow it, but she was surprised to learn that Rudy was even the first to give the go-signal for the shoot.

Unfortunately, Lorna has declined the offer.

"Ayoko, ayoko muna," Lorna finally answered amidst teasing from her Startalk co-hosts yesterday, September 1. "Huwag na sana. Kasi para sa akin, tapos na ‘yon. Pinagdaanan ko na ang pa-sexy-sexy. Maraming salamat, nakaka-flatter talaga ‘yon."

Before becoming one of the country's best actresses, Lorna was one of the hottest sexy stars in the late '70s up to early '80s.

Through a phone-patch interview, Rudy explained why he gave his approval for his wife to pose for FHM.

"Well, siyempre noong in-offer sa kanya, na-flatter ako dahil ibig sabihin, e, sexy pa at maganda ang asawa ko. Kaya nga sabi ko na ‘Babe, pumayag ka na.' Anyway, madalas ako bumili ng FHM," said Rudy, who is now recovering from his battle with cancer.

After the laughs have died down, Rudy, in a more thankful note, gave out a message to everyone who prayed for him: "Nagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng nag dasal para sa akin. Dahil ito, effective at hindi ko na mapigilan ang pag lakas. Gumagaling na ako talaga kaya salamat ng marami sa nagdasal para sa akin."
